Wild Miami-Dade shootout filmed – NBC 6 South Florida
Gunmen in cars are shown exchanging gunshots while speeding through a northwestern Miami-Dade neighborhood in new doorbell camera footage.
It’s hard to count exactly how many shots flew Northwest 68th Street on Tuesday night, as many were fired at the same time, but Miami-Dade Police believe it was over 20.
Two or three vehicles were involved in the incident, which can be clearly seen and heard in Ring Camera footage.
In the video, a car is seen speeding down the street, followed by a silver SUV, with someone hanging out the window shooting the first car.
Witnesses said they saw the cars drive past their home.
“These boys were sitting at the window and shooting at the truck, the diver in the truck was shooting at them and the car behind them was shooting at them, it was three of them shooting right behind,” said one woman. didn’t want to identify. “I was going out the door to check the mail and I’m glad my little baby was crying, if she wasn’t crying I would have been caught in it.”
NBC 6’s Marissa Bagg is in Northwest Miami-Dade with the latest.
Miami-Dade Police officials said ShotSpotter alerted them to the scene where they found several cartridge cases.
No one was injured but unoccupied cars were hit by bullets, police said.
“You don’t know if you’re going to be hit by a stray bullet, you can’t do any yard work, you can’t play with kids, dogs, that’s no way of life,” said another neighbor who did not want to be identified.
