Vivo X70 phones in India to bring Zeiss exclusive features like Style Portrait, T * Coating and more

Vivo is set to launch its X70 series of phones in India on September 30, with a microsite on the company’s website already ready to reveal this information. Courtesy of the microsite, Vivo also revealed that the X70 series phones will come with Zeiss optics and will also feature an updated version of the gimbal camera technology that has been very successful on phones from the X series of the previous generation.

And now, ahead of launch, we’ve received more information about the company’s partnership with the Zeiss for the X70 series. According to our sources close to the company, the new Vivo X70 series phones will be equipped with Zeiss compatible features such as Zeiss Style Portrait, Zeiss T * Coating and more.

According to information available to Digit, all rear camera lenses on the X70 series phones will have certified Zeiss T * coating compliance, which will allow them to “reproduce clear, true colors in whatever you shoot.” Additionally, the phones will benefit from Zeiss’ unique expertise in mobile imaging and optical design, which in turn integrated into the system could help the X70 series deliver an impressive mobile photography experience.

Vivo X70 Pro +: expected specifications

The X70 series phones have already launched in China and are expected to arrive in India with minor changes. Among the phones, the X70 Pro + will be the flagship and, as such, will feature the most impressive hardware.

Vivo X70 Pro + is expected to feature a 6.78-inch quad-HD + E5 AMOLED display capable of running a fast 120Hz refresh rate. The next Vivo handset will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 888+ SoC. For cameras, the Vivo X70 Pro + could feature a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary ultra-wide sensor, a 50-megapixel secondary primary sensor, a third 12-megapixel portrait sensor, and a fourth telephoto sensor from 8 megapixels completing the list. The Vivo X70 Pro + could also get a 32-megapixel sensor on the front for clicking selfies.

Keeping the lights on on the device will be a 4,500mAh battery with support for Flash Charge 55W fast charging and Flash Charge 50W wireless fast charging. The phone will also feature a premium design to help challenge other smartphones in the premium segment.
