Renforth Resources completes trenching program at Victoria West, continuously exposing nickel, cobalt, copper and zinc across the entire 275m stripping

November 24, 2021 – TheNewswire – Renforth Resources Inc. (CNSX:RFR.CN) (OTC:RFHRF) (FSE: 9RR) (“Renforth” or the “Company”) is pleased to share the success of our stripping program on our Victoria West Battery Metals system where we have exposed nickel, cobalt, copper and zinc on the set of ~ 275 m that was dug, located between the mineralized drilling holes of our recently announced 2.2 km drill length, each of these holes intersecting the metals of the battery.

“We are quite satisfied with the visual and XRF results of the field, Victoria West turns out to be a very interesting site, currently spanning about 5 km, containing nickel and cobalt necessary for energy storage, copper necessary for the construction of electric vehicles and zinc, a new addition to the list of critical minerals of the United States. The big question is what happens to the mineralization going east, along the remaining ~ 15 km of the magnetic anomaly associated with nickel and cobalt, before reaching the Colony site at the east end. 2022 will tell us if, or how much, Victoria West grows, ”says Nicole Brewster, President and CEO of Renforth.

Summary of the program

The trenching at Surimeau was completed in early November. The main part of the trench is about 275 meters long and runs roughly east-west. East and west cross sections have been excavated at both ends of the main trench and run roughly north-south. The western crosscut follows a drill track from the 2021 winter-spring drilling program and is approximately 200 meters long. The eastern cross has a length of about 150 meters. A total of 53 canals were cut through all the trenches, varying in length from 2 to 42 meters. A total of 704 samples were taken, 25 grab samples and 24 blanks. The main mineralized shear zone is present and exposed along the entire length of the main trench, trending west-southwest. Significant mineralization is also present in a set of alteration along the north side of the main shear along its exposed length in the trench.

The Huston Discovery, approximately 18 km northwest of Victoria West and within the Surimeau District property, where Renforth previously announced a grab sample with a dosage of 1.9% Ni, 1.38% Cu, 1170 ppm Co and 4 g / t Ag, in heavily foliated diorite with uneven oxidation on the weathered surface has been revisited. Management considers this grab sample to be a new discovery; however, a grab sample is selected by the geologist and may not be representative of the property as a whole. In order to learn more about this discovery, the exposed diorite was revisited and the outcrop was exposed manually to create a depth of approximately 25m2 Region. A total of 6 channels were cut and 19 additional samples were taken.

Samples taken from both areas have been delivered to the laboratory for analysis, the results will be published when available.

Current activities in the Surimeau district

The following actions are currently in progress:

1 – The analytical results of the start of the trenching / pipe digging in Victoria West have started to be received, they will be published immediately upon receipt of all results

2 – The last drone video shot during the program was uploaded to Renforth’s YouTube channel

3 – The detailed drone photography is being assembled and will help digitize the mapping of the stripped area

4 – Planning has started for an EM / Mag survey at Victoria West over part or all of the approximately 20 km magnetic anomaly. This investigation will make it possible to “see” the sulphides, which are generally connected in ribbons and silts., giving us more details on the structure.

5 – Samples of drill core are selected for further analysis to determine the degree of platinum group element mineralization is present. The only platinum and palladium tests performed to date were on the first surface prospecting samples taken from the Colonie, LaLonde and Victoria West regions in June 2020 which gave positive analytical results, demonstrating that these metals are present at each location.

Current activities of the Parbec gold deposit

The following actions are currently in progress;

1 – Our sectional deposit model is updated by our geologists with the results of> 15,000 m of drilling carried out earlier this year.

2 – This process highlights additional sampling that needs to be done. As previously noted, it is difficult to visually assess the presence of gold in Parbec drill core, with rare exceptions. This leads to unsampled areas, which we now know need to be sampled based on recent results. We will do the additional sampling as soon as possible. If this sampling gives gold results, it will have a positive impact on our deposit model.

3 – Renforth is continuing a structural study on Parbec, this kind of work has not been done to date. Given the obvious similarities to the structural framework of Parbec and Canadian Malartic (although Malartic is larger), the exploration team believes shareholders will be best served at this time by efforts to identify controls over mineralization. gold, in particular the higher grade “magnetic diorite” “mineralization.

Historically, the East Malartic and Barnat deposits, now part of Canadian Malartic and located approximately 6.5 km along the strike on the Cadillac Fault, indicate a close association with magnetic diorite, feldspar porphyries , shear zones and gold trends. Structurally, gold deposits in this environment are controlled by strike-slip faults and shear zones that follow various directions and dips. The mineralized volumes have been described by various authors as diamond lenses not always attached to the main structures, the gold mineralization is poor in sulphides and contained in fracture systems filled with quartz-carbonate.1

About Renforth

Renforth 100% owns the ~ 260 km2 The Surimeau District property, which contains numerous zones of polymetallic and gold mineralization, each with varying levels of exploration, as well as a significant amount of unexplored land. Victoria West was drilled to a length of 2.2 km, in a mineralized structure 5 km long, showing mineralization of nickel, copper, zinc and cobalt, at the western end of a magnetic anomaly of 20 km. The Huston target, upon initial recognition, yielded a grab sample grading 1.9% Ni, 1.38% Cu, 1170 ppm Co and 4 g / t Ag. In addition, the Lalonde, Surimau and Colonie targets are all polymetallic mineralized occurrences which, with various gold showings, constitute the potential zones of this property without NSR.

In addition to the Surimeau District Battery Metals ownership, Renforth wholly owns the Parbec gold deposit, a surface gold deposit contiguous to the Canadian Malartic mine property in Malartic, Quebec. In 2020/21, Renforth completed 15,569m of drilling that successfully paired some historic holes, filled gaps in the resource model with newly discovered gold mineralization and deeper extended mineralization. Based on the success of this major drilling program, the Company is considering the Spring 2020 ERM, with a resource estimate of 104,000 ounces of gold indicated at a grade of 1.78 g / t Au and 177,000 ounces. of gold assumed at a grade of 1.78 g / t Au to be obsolete. With the new data acquired, Renforth will undertake to complete the first-ever structural study of mineralization at Parbec, as well as additional total metal analysis work to better contextualize the nugget effect on gold mineralization.

Renforth also owns the Malartic West property, the site of a copper / silver discovery, and Nixon-Bartleman, west of Timmins Ontario, with gold present at surface for a strike length of approximately 500 m.
