OnePlus 10 Pro redefines phone photography with Hasselblad Camera 2.0

OnePlus stepped up its camera game last year by teaming up with legendary camera maker Hasselblad to bring a new and improved camera experience to users with vivid colors, fantastic dynamic range and a fresh new look. for the camera app inspired by classic Hasselblad colors. The goal was to bring Hasselblad’s camera expertise of more than eight decades to more people with fan-favorite devices from OnePlus.

With the OnePlus 10 Pro, the bar is raised even higher with the Hasselblad 2.0 camera. With the new and improved Hasselblad mode, the OnePlus 10 Pro can change the way you click images, allowing you to not only click still images, but also bring them to life with rich color and contrast ratios.

Check out the new triple camera setup!

OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a 1/1.43-inch Sony IMX789 main sensor that takes 10-bit color photos. Sony’s new sensor also improves noise reduction, while delivering better dynamic range.

The 48 main sensor is also accompanied by an 8MP telephoto lens capable of 3.3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom, now with a new super resolution algorithm that improves the clarity of magnified photos. OIS, or Optical Image Stabilization on the Telephoto Lens, also means photos capture better light during night shots and come out less shaky, even when you shoot them handheld.

The OnePlus 10 Pro also comes with a new 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 110-degree field of view, with AI-powered distortion correction and more. The camera also allows users to take great 150 degree and Fisheye shots when they want to get a little more creative. These features are neatly stored in a dedicated tab, available to users only when needed.
Hasselblad Pro mode

The new Hasselblad Pro Mode on the OnePlus 10 Pro allows users to use Pro Mode features on all three sensors – the main, telephoto and ultrawide! Shooting parameters such as ISO, white balance and shutter speed can now be adjusted according to the user’s taste and the camera also allows him to capture photos up to RAW 12 bits.

This allows photos to capture more information and higher levels of dynamic range, with Hasselblad’s natural color solution for mobile. A new feature in Hasselblad Pro mode called RAW+ also gives you more creative freedom when editing your photos.

Long exposure

The OnePlus 10 Pro can capture great long exposure shots quickly and easily, and that without the need for a tripod. Whether you want to give your waterfalls a silky look or make dazzling light paintings on the beach, the long exposure mode has you covered.

Long exposure images can be captured via the “More” setting in the OnePlus 10 Pro’s Camera app.

Main Styles

Master Styles allows you to take photos with colors calibrated by the masters of photography themselves. With gradings from Hasselblad Ambassador Yin Chao and Hasselblad Masters winners Ben Thomas and David Peskens, users have three unique color modes to click images: Serenity, Radiance and Emerald. All of these can be found in the Camera app’s Filters menu.

Serenity captures the look of Yin Chao’s iconic fashion photography and is ideal for portraits. Radiance recreates Ben Thomas’ hyperreality style and delivers great shots for social media. Finally, the Emerald mode is designed for beautiful landscape shots inspired by David Pesken’s wildlife photography.

Other Camera Features

The OnePlus 10 Pro also comes with a number of other features that users would love to explore their creative side with, including X-Pan mode, Dual Video, Time Lapse, Panorama, and a dedicated Nightscape mode.
